How to order
If you find that you like something on our website and are keen to purchase then ordering online could not be any easier with our buying system.
Simply click ‘add to cart’ and the website will place the item in your ‘shopping cart’. You can view your shopping cart at any time and also remove items. Once you’re done simply click ‘checkout’ in your shopping cart. The rest is self explanatory.
How do we process your order?
Once we receive your order it will be automatically placed on a ‘Pending’ status.
As soon as your credit/debit card as been approved by WorldPay and we receive confirmation of this your order will then change to the ‘Processing’ status. You will also receive an automated email from us informing you of status changes and what is happening with your order. Once your order is packed and has left our premises we will then change the status of your order to ‘Shipped’.
Occasionally, if for any ever reason we can not ‘process’ your order we will inform you by email and ask you to respond to our query. Your order status will change to ‘Query/Pending’. Once we are happy with your response we will then process your order.
Please avoid providing hotmail addresses and use your main internet service provider email address is possible. The reason why is because some customers may not receive status updates from us because hotmail will place it in your junk email folder. If you need to use hotmail ensure your filters are correctly configured.
1. Delivery of Goods.
We aim to dispatch your order as soon as we possibly can. In many cases the same day / next day. New orders are dispatched Monday to Friday and on many occasions processed over Saturday and Sunday. To order by fax please use the fax sheet and fax back to us.
- UK Orders Only
If your goods are in stock at the time of order you can expect to receive your order in 2 to 5 days. Goods are sent by Royal Mail post. Sometimes depending on the weight of your order we may send it by carrier.
- Worldwide Orders (Excluding UK)
Whilst shopping on our website you will come across a section where you will be able to Request a Quote. Simply choose this option and as soon as we know your exact requirements we can quote you for carriage costs, which are calculated according to parcel weight and/or volume. for shipping costs before placing an order. Please state the item(s) you wish to purchase and what country the item(s) is to be shipped to. We will select the efficient method and cost for shipping your order and notify you by e-mail to confirm this. Please note Raging Speed will not be liable for local taxes.
Note: Any NON UK Customer that makes a purchase via the WorldPay online system without enquiring about shipping costs will automatically be refunded minus any transaction losses to Raging Speed.
2. How do I receive my goods?
- Will I need to be at home when the package arrives?
For recorded items, it does not matter whether you are available or not, as long as there is someone who can sign for your delivery. A signature recording delivery of the goods in good condition is required.
- What happens if nobody is available when the postman delivers my goods? (UK only)
For recorded items then a card will be posted through the letterbox. It will advise you that your delivery was attempted and your goods are now at your local Royal Mail Enquiry Office. There will be an address of your local Royal Mail Enquiry Office on the card so that you can pick it up yourself. Alternatively, there will be a telephone number on the card which you can ring to arrange another delivery attempt. Royal Mail will only hold your goods for about 7 days before returning them back to Raging Speed. IMPORTANT! We reserve the right to charge postage on re-sent goods
Goods by Courier
If the Courier service fails to deliver, they will put a card through your letter box explaining that they will re-attempt to deliver the next day. Or you can call them to discuss your delivery options. Should they fail to deliver again then your order will be returned back to us.
For any goods returned back to us by Royal Mail or courier Services due to failed delivery attempts then you will be charged for our delivery fees (because we offer postage free) plus the normal handling fee of 15% (if order is to be refunded). In this case it is best to arrange with us for your order to be re-delivered at your own cost and to avoid the handling fee.
3. Product Warranties.
All products are warranted by the manufacturer.Where necessary goods returned under warranty may be sent to the manufacturer for inspection prior to a replacement or refund being issued.
4. Returns.
You must contact us in advance by emailing: returns@ragingspeed.co.uk if you wish to return any item. If we agree to accept a return we will issue you with a returns number. Goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Goods returned without a returns number will not be accepted. Please be aware that we do not pay return postage. Goods must be returned unused and in original undamaged packaging. If any of these conditions are breached you may only receive a partial refund. Please note that we may charge a handling fee of 15% for goods returned.
5. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of these terms and conditions does not affect your statutory rights. By placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Any dispute arising out of this Agreement shall first be resolved by mediation, if possible. Orders placed with Raging Speed Ltd are made in British law, and any necessary arbitration or litigation will take place in this country.
Nothing contained in this notice is intended to affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
